Our design team is the first in the world to partner with a Campus Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. We have started by providing consulting services to Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region. Our research and development is being directed towards implementing green technology while maintaining an affordable value. In order to provide top quality service to Habitat for Humanity, we will be participating in the Department of Energy Race to Zero Competition. The competition will provide students with research and skills that will be used for the benefit of Habitat for Humanity. Students working on the design team are receiving an unparalleled learning opportunity that includes hands-on experience and real world engineering knowledge.
